Kelleher Shakes N Bakes in the UK

Known as the “Old Show” in Australian speedway circles, Barry Kelleher put on one hell of a clinic whilst racing in the UK recently at King's Lynn.

Racing in the competitive Modlite class Kelleher raced from mid field in the A Main to the front in no time.

After a couple of challenging heats he noticed the track slickening off and that that put a spring in Corky’s step.

Taking advice from his life long friend Alan Oates, Kelleher stuck to his plan and plucked cars off one at a time utilising the low line.

With only a handful of laps remaining Kelleher found himself challenging for the lead.  He eventually finish 2nd.

Car owner Ryan Harrison was over the moon with the result and fielded a few offers for the car that’s actually for sale.

On his return, Kelleher will again compete in the NSW domestic Late Model ranks in his newly purchased Capital Race Car.
